I am originally from California where I attended the California School of Culinary Arts, Le Cordon Bleu in Pasadena. After graduating with a culinary degree I worked as an Executive Pastry Chef at a Tuscan restaurant in San Diego. A few years later, I moved back home to the Central Valley of California to be closer to my family. I opened Solabella, a small scratch bakery / Café where I emphasized homemade, fresh, local, and sustainable. I also taught pastry arts at the local Culinary school working with kids in the at risk program. I coordinated many corporate & private events during this time, I even held private in house chef demonstrations and cooking classes. When the economy changed in 2008, I restructured my business to do only private parties and wedding cakes. In 2009 I was introduced to Aramark - Business Dining. As the Chef Manager with Aramark, I ran a contracted dining program for an insurance call center. In 2011 I relocated to East Texas with family to explore cattle ranching. After working the family ranch for a couple years, I decided to return to Aramark. I was introduced to Aramark – Higher Education at UT Tyler where I supported their team as Retail Manager overseeing operations at all retail locations on campus. Shortly after returning to Aramark, I transferred to TJC to manage retail ultimately leading me to the Catering Manager role. I look forward to growing with Aramark and doing my best to service Tyler Junior College with the best customer service possible.
